As you may have noticed, the “Welcome to Iron Ridge” sign coming into the Village from the south on Hwy S has been falling apart and is now down to just the “Welcome” part. I’d like to see the old sign replaced with something that reflects more of the character and history of the Village. The image below is a first draft. It’s not real. I pieced together a few things in Photoshop, but tried to keep it simple. The size could be scaled down a bit, and still look good. I presented it to the Board back in December. It was received well, but there’s been no further discussion since. I’d like to see this, or something similar, move ahead.
